One Montana’s mission is to preserve the essence of Montana by strengthening community action to address challenging issues and drive positive change.

One Montana is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in Bozeman, Montana, dedicated to moving Montana forward and ensuring a positive future for both rural and urban communities—helping them work together toward success.

Our Programs
1MT has an operational focus that has guided us since inception. It includes rural-urban connections, agriculture and local food systems, education, natural resources and working lands. To focus our efforts, 1MT has three distinct program areas:
